In order to increase the production of consumer and seed potatoes in the Tashkent region, expand cluster and cooperation mechanisms in the field of potato growing, further support the state's implementation of modern technologies, as well as fully satisfy domestic market demand for potatoes, Presidential Resolution No. PQ-4704 was adopted on May 6, 2020. Also, the agro-industrial potato cluster “Agrover”, created in the region by Government Decree No. 193, covers the entire process of potato production from obtaining seeds to deep processing. The cluster uses modern technologies and equipment to optimize production processes, rational and efficient use of land and water resources.

The agro-industrial potato cluster "Agrover" introduced a sprinkler irrigation and mechanization system on an area of 420 hectares.

Consistent research on creating new high-yielding potato varieties and providing farmers with quality seeds is bearing fruit.
