In order to provide the population with basic types of food products and employment, to increase export volumes, to maintain price stability in the market, and to further increase farmers' income, a number of systematic works are being carried out locally.

In particular, taking into account the soil, climate and water supply of the regions of the republic, it is decided to plant 923.6 thousand hectares of crops for the harvest of 2024 based on the proposals received from the regions.

Of this, 284,800 hectares of legumes, 227,100 hectares of fodder crops, 110,400 hectares of vegetables, 101,200 hectares of rice, 55,600 hectares of millet, 52,900 hectares of potatoes, 47,000 hectares of rice, It is planned to plant 38 thousand hectares of oil crops and 6.2 thousand hectares of broom.

Accurate calculations were made for the supply of seeds, material resources, and the purchase of cultivated products required for planting crops on time, and working groups for planting were established.

Including:

- more than 36 thousand farms and cluster enterprises have 452.7 thousand hectares for their own needs;

- 311.1 thousand hectares for 406.4 thousand farm members;

- 500,300 needy people listed in the registers will be allotted 159,700 hectares of land for repeated cropping.

Analyzing the information received from the regions on the timely and high-quality planting of repeated crops, it is shown that the work on planting repeated crops is poorly organized in some regions.

As of July 22 of this year, a total of 1 mln. 12 thousand hectares (100%) of grain fields were cleared of straw, and 901.9 thousand hectares (92%) of repeated crops were planted.

When these indicators were analyzed by regions, it was found that 4% of the fields in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 5% in Samarkand and Surkhandarya regions, and 7% in Kashkadarya were not planted with repeated crops.

131 warnings, 6 submissions and 190 written instructions were provided in the above-mentioned cases regarding deficiencies in repeated cropping works.
