The quality of ginning in cotton fields is under the control of the Inspectorate

1 million for the harvest of 2024 in the Republic. Cotton is cultivated on 12,436 hectares of land.

Today, 238,000 hectares or 23 percent of the cotton fields are in the 3-4 boll phase, 382,000 hectares or 38 percent are in the 5-6 boll phase, and 391,000 hectares or 39 percent are in the 7-8 boll phase.

Until now, in the regions, cotton has been cultivated between rows 6.9 times, foliar feeding of cotton has been carried out 5.4 times, and 3 feeding with nitrogen mineral fertilizers has been carried out in 98 percent of the fields.

Also, ginning was carried out on 962,000 hectares or 95 percent of cotton fields.

This event was almost completed in Andijan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Surkhandarya, Tashkent, Fergana and Khorezm regions, while in Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, and Syrdarya regions, 90-95% of cotton fields were held.

Also, the Inspectorate is carrying out on-site monitoring measures to ensure timely and high-quality ginning of cotton fields.

During the monitoring activities, it was found out that 4 thousand 886 hectares of 897 farms were covered late or poorly.

In addition, during the season, the Inspectorate conducted monitoring activities on the timely and qualitative implementation of agrotechnical activities in cotton fields, and it was found that errors and shortcomings were made in the implementation of agrotechnical activities on 141 thousand hectares.

326 submissions and 16,293 warnings were issued to the heads of farms and cluster enterprises to eliminate identified deficiencies.
