Publicity events are being held regarding the amendments to the legislation.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Measures for Reliable Protection of the Rights and Legitimate Interests of Entrepreneurs” No. PF-184 adopted on 14.11.2024, it was determined that from January 1, 2025, all inspections conducted by regulatory authorities in the activities of business entities will be carried out in the procedure of notifying the Business Ombudsman by registering in the “Unified State Control” information system.

In addition, in cases where the business entity being inspected is not clear, as well as in order to promptly prevent or eliminate the risk of harm to the life and health of citizens, public safety, state interests, and the environment, a procedure has been introduced for inspections conducted in the activities of business entities to be carried out within 24 hours after the start of the inspection by registering in the “Unified State Control” information system and notifying the Business Ombudsman.

In this regard, a mutual legal advocacy hour was held between the employees of the Khorezm regional department of the Inspection and the employees of the Khorezm regional department of the State Institution of the Center for the Development of Seed Production.

The event was attended by the Chief Specialist for Legal Support of the Regional Department of the Inspection U. Hayitboyev, specialists from the Department for the Control of the Production and Supply of Agricultural Seeds, and employees of the Khorezm regional department of the State Institution of the Center for the Development of Seed Production.

In particular, in the opening part of the event, U. Hayitboyev and D. Kutlimuratov provided information on the implementation of inspections of seed-growing business entities from the first days of next year in compliance with the requirements of the above-mentioned Presidential Decree.

The cooperation of representatives of this sector in the control measures carried out to ensure the quality of seeds that determine the fate of the next year's harvest is very important, and compliance with legislative requirements in the inspections carried out in this regard is of great importance.

The promotional events began in a lively atmosphere, full of heated discussions and questions and answers, and it was agreed that such events would be held regularly with the participation of representatives of the sector.
