This year, for the harvest of 2025, in the territories of the Republic, in all categories of farms, 229 thousand 561 hectares in August-September 2024, and 522 thousand 727 hectares in November-December 2024, on a total area of 752 thousand 288 hectares, are set to be planted by the ninety-five method.
When the inspectorate studied the planting of crops in August-September, it was found out that crops have been planted on 195,000 hectares of land until today (as of September 18, 2024).
In particular, it is planned to plant onions on 136 thousand 261 hectares of land by the ninety-two method, of which 117 thousand 157 hectares have been planted.
In addition, it was decided to sow agricultural crops in August-September of this year on 53 thousand 459 hectares, in November-December on 210 thousand 350 hectares, a total of 263 thousand 808 hectares. Garlic planting has been done.
Of this, 7 thousand 575 hectares of onions and 3 thousand 859 hectares of garlic were planted in open fields, and 21 thousand 906 hectares of onions and 10 thousand 439 hectares of garlic were planted between garden rows.
