Advantages of artificial insemination

In a natural way, one bull can inseminate 50-70 cows during the year, and the gender of the offspring will be conditionally 50:50.

For artificial insemination, if more than 100,000 doses of seeds are taken from one breeding bull during its life, at least 40,000 breeding calves can be obtained, of which 20,000 (50%) are females, and later they will become cows. , will be the basis for filling the herd.

In addition, with these decisions, the field of veterinary and animal husbandry development is responsible for:

- organization of artificial insemination, breeding-selection work and regionalization of agricultural animals by breed;

- cooperation with organizations in the field of veterinary, animal husbandry and breeding and other issues within their competence;

- tasks such as studying the implementation of plans for the placement of agricultural animals by breed have been assigned, and in turn, the Inspectorate has been assigned the tasks of their control.
