Are agrotechnical activities in the cotton fields carried out in good quality?

Today, all operations in cotton agrotechnics, including inter-row tillage, deep softening, weeding, feeding with nitrogen fertilizers, suspension spraying, control of cotton pests and insects are organized on a systematic basis.

This year, cotton is being cultivated on an area of ​​73,246 hectares for the harvest of 2024 in Samarkand region.

Of course, as a result of quality and timely implementation of these agrotechnical activities, it became known that today 21 thousand 779 hectares of 5-6 chinbarg and 51 thousand 467 hectares of cotton fields are developing in the phase of carding.

Also, the first feeding of cotton fields with nitrogen mineral fertilizers (200 kg/ha) was completed today in all regions.

At the same time, cotton was processed 3.1 times between rows. 1 thousand 496 cultivators are engaged in cultivation, with each cultivator cultivating an average of 3.4 hectares.

1. Irrigation, weeding and foliar feeding of 133 thousand 231 hectares of cotton with deep softeners were carried out in the cotton fields of the regional districts.

20 thousand 972 workers were involved in the implementation of the agrotechnical measures mentioned above.

A total of 46,726 hectares of cotton fields were monitored. During these activities, a number of errors and shortcomings were revealed, such as low-quality and late cultivation of 3 thousand 504 hectares of cotton fields of more than a thousand farms, low-quality feeding with mineral fertilizers, failure to complete weeding works on time, and not cleaning the fields from weeds.

Based on these cases, district inspectors issued 742 warnings, 20 written instructions and 11 submissions.
