The grain harvest season is being conducted in good quality

According to the decision No. 227 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 3, 2023 "On the purchase of wheat from the 2023 harvest and measures to ensure price stability in the domestic market", the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the governorates of the regions from the 2023 harvest a total of 2 million 565 thousand tons of wheat, 1 million 283 thousand tons of commodity wheat, 240 thousand 450 tons of seed wheat and 1 million 41 thousand 550 tons are temporarily stored by farms and other grain producers for later sale in stock market and indicated to be sold through stock market.

For the harvest of 2023 in Navoi region, 946 grain-growing farms planted grain on 38 thousand 39 hectares of land, of which 2 thousand 393 hectares of land were planted with seed grain. It is planned to receive a total of 95,000 tons of wheat grains to the state with grain enterprises, of which 47,000 tons are for the state fund, 39,200 tons for temporary storage, and 8,800 tons of seed wheat grains.

As defined in the decision, control over the quality of commodity wheat as a state resource and for temporary storage, storage and shipment to customers is entrusted to the Agro-Industrial Complex control inspectorate.

Accordingly, on June 8, 2023, the order of the head of the Inspectorate No. um-10-23 was adopted, and in the order, in order to organize the timely and high-quality harvesting of spiked grain planted for the harvest of 2023 and to control the work to be carried out, the republic, region and District working groups were established.

Chief specialists of district control of cotton raw materials, grain, seeds and products obtained from their processing were attached to each grain receiving station. The transparent conduct of grain analyzes in the laboratories of the grain store and the quick resolution of conflicting cases during grain acceptance by experts on the spot prevented the cases of unjustified stopping of vehicles.

The total amount of wheat grains received in Navoi region is 95 thousand 398 tons, of which 92 thousand 48 tons are seed grains, 86 thousand 150 tons of commercial wheat grains of net weight, of which 47 thousand tons are for savings account and 39 thousand 150 tons of grains received for temporary storage are for higher classes was accepted, 0.02 percent discount and 0.34 percent premiums were applied for grain quality.

Today, it is arranged that grain with spikes in the open field, received at the account of the fund, will be included in the closed capacities of the main enterprise without leaving it to precipitation, to prevent excessive damage. Temporarily accepted wheat grains are being sold through stock market and are being taken out of stores.

There are 8 grain acceptance laboratories in the region, 6 of which belong to JSC "Navoiydonmahsulotri" and 2 to "Kiziltepa Un Zavodi" and its branches.

"Uzagroinspektsiya" controls the quality of wheat to ensure that there are no conflicting situations by the farmer. In particular, wheat is subjected to 8 types of laboratory analyzes at the grain reception offices.

The transparent and fair conduct of this process will be under the control of the inspector attached to the grain receiving stations. Full control over the correct determination of the quantity, quality and class of grain is carried out.

In addition, there are 2 seed workshops in the joint-stock company "Navoiydonmahsultori". It is planned to receive 6 thousand 11 tons of seed materials for the 1st seed workshop and 3 thousand 748 tons of seed materials for the 2nd seed workshop. Areas for seed placement are limited by blocks. Separate closed capacities have been established to receive super elite varieties in bags. Both shops are fully stocked with bags. In addition, orders have been placed for labels used in the packaging process.

At the same time, in the elevators of "Navoiydonmahsulotri" JSC, 2 auto-turners, 16 mobile transmission conveyors in its branches, and 11 conveyors in "Kiziltepa flour factory" are ready.

In addition to this, preparations for the reception of grain have been fully implemented in 8 grain clusters established in the region. Agroinspektsiya gave written instructions to the heads of the grain clusters to prepare the vehicle scale, laboratory, open area, closed capacity and to eliminate the deficiencies as soon as possible.

It is planned to purchase seeds from the funds of the State Support Fund for Agriculture under the Ministry of Finance. Commodity wheat accepted for temporary storage at a commercial representative from farmers and grain-growing clusters will be sold through stock exchanges in July-August 2023.
