In the Shahrikhan district of Andijan region, research was carried out in order to prevent the arbitrary seizure of irrigated lands, organize effective land use and exercise state control in the field of protection.

As a result, in 31 cases in the Shahrikhan region, citizens arbitrarily seized 0.723 hectares of irrigated arable land intended for agriculture, surrounded by concrete foundations and bricks, the construction of buildings and structures. It became known that work was underway. As a result, the fertile soil layer was damaged.
The government’s “Procedure for compensation for damage caused to owners, users, tenants and owners of land plots, failure to carry out agricultural and forestry production, as well as withdrawal of land from agricultural use” contains a formula for determining the amount of damage in cases of arbitrary withdrawal of land from agricultural use.
Based on this, in total there are 742 million in the Shahrikhan region, with only 31 cases. It was established that damage was caused in the amount of 485 thousand 156 soums. In the above 31 cases, information was sent to the regional prosecutor's office about eliminating the cases identified on 0.723 hectares of irrigated arable land.
