It's a busy season in agriculture: the grain harvest is only a few days away

Grain is the source of our people's sustenance and the richness of our table, it is the answer to the good intentions of our enlightened people who asked for prosperity in our lives. There are only a few days left for the wheat harvest season, which is the result of the hard work of our grandfathers. This process puts a lot of responsibility on the farmers, harvesters and workers involved in the field. This year, careful preparations were made to harvest the crop in a short period of time.

In Amudarya district, an exhibition seminar was organized in the Dostlik neighborhood of the 2nd sector in order to review the completion of preparations for this season, to check the readiness of the necessary equipment for the season, as well as the readiness of high-efficiency combine harvesters for harvesting.

This event was attended by district governor Sabir Khojametov, sector leaders, deputy district governor for agriculture and water management Anvar Yuldashev, head of the Karakalpakstan Republic Department of Uzagroinspektsia Arslon Yusufov and industry experts.

A presentation of combine harvesters ready for grain harvesting was also held at the event.

Officials inspected harvest preparations, repair of combine harvesters, technical adjustment, readiness for the season, talked with the members of the detachments, representatives of the agricultural system.

District governor Sabir Khojametov emphasized that grain is the common wealth of our nation, the honest work of our farmers, and a blessing that ensures abundance of our table, and he gave the necessary tasks to the representatives of agriculture in order to harvest and harvest a single grain in an organized manner.

It is worth mentioning that in the Amudarya district this year grain was grown on 4 thousand 800 hectares of farm land. Of this, 588 hectares of grain is intended for seed. 18 combine harvesters and 36 equipment managers were involved in harvesting this season. At the event, each harvester was financially encouraged by the officials, they were given a monetary award and food products.

For information, it is worth saying that the warm November and December of 2023 had a positive effect on the growth and development of autumn grain crops. As a result, early and optimally planted autumn grain crops entered the full flowering period and entered early winter. In order to get abundant harvest from the land, the necessary agrotechnical activities were carried out by the farmers in a timely and qualitative manner during the season.

Grain fields were fertilized with natural fertilizers, and agrotechnical measures against crop-damaging pests were carried out. As a result of the use of sprinkling irrigation technology with special means, water resources were saved much more than before and wheat was continuously supplied with moisture.

At the event, specialists gave necessary instructions to each employee participating in the season and answered questions.

At the end of the seminar, the technical condition of the combines was tested. In a word, employees, farmers and peasants working in the field of agriculture of Amudarya are ready for the grain harvest season with the necessary equipment. This process is constantly monitored by official organizations.
