Today, control over the use of agricultural land for its intended purpose is carried out by the Agroinspectorate under the Ministry of Agriculture.
In particular, in order to ensure the implementation of Decree No. PF-5742 “On measures for the efficient use of land and water resources in agriculture,” local land inspectors performed a number of tasks within the limits of their authority.
In this decree, irrigated agricultural land is under special protection, and these lands are used for non-agricultural purposes, including the construction of industrial and civil facilities (buildings and structures), as well as advanced technologies that do not require fertile soil (hydroponics). etc.) it was determined that the allocation of funds for the construction of greenhouses using new methods is not allowed.
In November-December of this year, the use of irrigated arable land intended for agriculture in the regions of the region was studied through monitoring by the Department of Inspection for Control over the Use of Agricultural Land of the Khorezm Region. The study revealed a number of cases of violations of the law.
In 56 cases, 6.0 hectares of irrigated arable land were unauthorizedly withdrawn from agricultural use, resulting in damage in the amount of 3.4 billion soums, and appropriate measures are being taken.
To date, the Inspectorate has issued warning letters in 19 cases of payment of damage amounts during voluntary periods (1094 hectares, 856 million 405 283 soums), and in 8 cases of non-payment of damage amounts in voluntary periods (0.6291 hectares). It was ensured that claims were filed with the Urgench Interdistrict Economic Court and the Bogota Interdistrict Civil Court for the recovery of 503 million 768 352 soums.
The regional department of Uzagroinspectorate continues control activities in this area, and appropriate measures are taken in connection with identified violations of legislation.
