The processing of technical cottonseed by oil and gas enterprises is under control

Uzagroinspection has established constant control over the purposeful processing of cottonseed in oil and fat enterprises in a full technological cycle, the presence of a hygienic conclusion confirming the quality of the products, and the compliance of the processed products with the mandatory requirements established by technical regulations and standards.

During the study conducted in the first quarter of 2025, it was determined that 6 out of 15 oil and grease enterprises were operating in accordance with the requirements established by law, and the activities of 9 enterprises were not in accordance.

A total of 15 (9 written instructions, 6 warnings) corrective measures were applied to enterprises for the identified shortcomings.

Also, information on enterprises that have a full technological cycle for processing technical cotton seeds (kernel crushing, hydrothermal treatment, pressing, extraction, refining, deodorization and packaging workshops) and a hygienic conclusion confirming the quality of the processed products, and whose products are found to comply with the mandatory requirements established by technical regulations and standards, is being entered into the Republican Commodity Exchange.
