Water accounting at water intake sites is under the control of the Agroinspection

Under the leadership of the President, serious attention is being paid to improving water culture, accelerating reforms in water management, and strengthening the material and technical base of the sector. Large-scale works are being carried out to introduce water-saving technology in crop irrigation. The method of drip irrigation of cultivated fields is distinguished by its high efficiency, that is, it allows obtaining a stable high yield with low water consumption in conditions of limited water resources.

The advantage of drip irrigation is, first of all, in saving water resources. This is achieved due to the uniqueness of the irrigation regime, low evaporation, no wasteful flow of water, and most importantly, the field soil does not harden, as the water is delivered to the plant through hoses during drip irrigation, as a result, the row spacing does not need to be processed. At the end of the season, the field with hardened soil is plowed with good quality and easily. Due to the fact that the fertilizer is given together with water, the need to use equipment for fertilizing disappears, labor and fuel and lubricants are saved. The manual labor of water workers in the field is drastically reduced. For example: water consumption is saved by 40-50%, fuel is saved by 50-60%, the efficiency of mineral fertilizers increases by 25-30%, labor resources and labor costs are saved, the ripening period of the crop is accelerated by 15-20 days. , productivity increases by 25-30 percent.

The employees of the Akkorgon District Department of "Uzagroinspeksiya" in order to level the unused soil irrigation network in the district, i.e., in order to prevent the wasteful flow of excess water, 37.0 km of neglected and unnecessary on the burial of internal irrigation networks, as well as contracts on the use of water for the harvest of 2023 by the water-using farms, were regularly formalized and registered in the district justice department.

In addition, according to paragraph 4 of the Government's decision No. 174 of April 3, 2021 "On measures to further improve the procedure for accounting and reporting and monitoring of water resources in water use and water consumption", water management and accounting of water intake points equipment, water use, timely submission of applications by water consumers, daily account of water consumption has been established.

There are still cases of inefficient and purposeless use of water resources in the district. Violation of the rules for taking water from irrigation systems, improper use of water, and non-compliance with the rules for keeping accounts are being taken as legal measures. In order to prevent water wastage, the staff of the Tashkent regional office of "Uzagroinspeksiya" and the Akkorgon district department are conducting special control of promotion and campaigning at meetings with water consumers.
