In Bukhara region, it is planned to stockpile a total of 15,700 tons of seed grain for the 2025 harvest, including 4,862 tons of the "Alekseich" variety, 1,695 tons of the "Grom" variety, 2,281 tons of the "Grut" variety, 4,442 tons of the "Vassa" variety, 986 tons of the "Yelanchik" variety, and 1,434 tons of other new varieties.
According to the results of the approval conducted by the working groups established in the districts, 4,932 hectares of seed grain areas of 173 farms were recognized as suitable by the district approval commissions. 207 hectares of 85 farms, of which 181 hectares of 82 farms were partially and 26 hectares of 3 farms were completely unsuitable due to the excessive amount of weeds and foreign variety mixtures and the failure to carry out agrotechnical measures in a timely manner.
Seed grain harvesting has begun these days. In particular, grain harvesting has begun on 500 hectares of seed grain areas belonging to the “Yakkatut Grain, Rice and Seed Cluster” LLC in Jondor district.
The seeds received by the employees of the Bukhara regional department of the “Uzagroinspection” are strictly controlled by the laboratory staff to be accepted and properly analyzed in accordance with the requirements of the established regulatory documents and stored in separate sample storage rooms.
For information, seed grains are accepted at the “I.Naimov” seed grain acceptance point in the Vobkent district of the “Bukhorodonmahsulotlari” JSC, “Guliston” seed grain acceptance point in the “Yakkatut Grain and Seed Cluster” LLC, and at “Bukhara Best Seeds” LLC and elite seed farms in the Romitan district of the “Seed Development Center” DM regional department.
