An educational-practical seminar was held in connection with the approval inspection of seed grain fields.

More than 250 industry experts from Andijan, Namangan, Fergana, Tashkent, Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions took part in the event, which was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Andijan regional government, the Scientific Research Institute of Grain and Legume Crops and other organizations

In the seminar, there was a detailed discussion about the work, achievements and problems, popularization of best practices, and work aimed at increasing the efficiency of work in this direction.

The participants of the educational and practical seminar first got acquainted with the activities of the seed store under the management of the "Andijondon products" joint-stock company in Altinkol district, and the work being done in preparation for the season. After that, the Research Institute of Cereals and Leguminous Crops got acquainted with the ecological variety test of foreign and local varieties of autumn soft wheat being tested in the experimental fields, the primary seed production system and the drip irrigation project introduced in the experimental fields.

"Seed grain cultivation is of great importance in the development of agriculture, in general, in improving the economy of our country," says R. Siddikov, director of the Scientific Research Institute of Grain and Legume Crops. - In this sense, the scientific-practical seminar will help to increase the efficiency of work in this direction, raise it to a higher level, study and popularize best practices.

At the conference, together with the responsible leaders and specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture, the head of the control inspection over the Agro-industry complex "Department for the control of the cultivation of seeds of agricultural crops" M. Gurbanboyev, chief specialist Sh. Khaitov and "Agriculture J. Karimovlar, Director of the Center for Product Quality Assessment, participated in the event participants' "Procedure for approving the seed areas of grain crops", "Varieties of grain crops grown in the Republic and their placement based on the soil and climate conditions of the regions". Lectures on topics such as "Submission and testing of newly created and promising grain varieties to State variety testing sites" were heard.

The participants gave lectures, as well as proposals, opinions and comments on improving the efficiency of work within the scope of the topic, popularizing best practices. Specialists and officials gave detailed answers to all the questions of the participants on the topic.
