HARVESTERS ARE BEING READY FOR THE SEASON

29 April 2025 88

The Uzagroinspection has established constant supervision over the preparation of combine harvesters that will participate in the 2025 grain harvest.

This year, a total of 2,914 grain harvesters are planned to be prepared for the season in the republic.

Of these combines, 1,033 are "Keys" and "New Holland", 1,570 are "Class", 247 are "Vector" and 64 are other types of combines.

Starting this year, a new system for preparing combines for the season has been introduced, in which 258 locations have been identified for the purpose of organizing centralized, high-quality repair of combines in the regions.

These locations have been provided with material and technical support for repairs (blacksmith shop, welding machine, machine tools, etc.), and hot meals and other conditions have been organized for workers involved in repair work.

2,914 combines that were taken to the repair facilities were inspected one by one with the participation of specialists from service enterprises, separate defect acts were drawn up for each combine for the required spare parts, and repair work was started based on these defect acts.

As a result of the systematic organization of work, as of today, the repair work of 2,623 or 90 percent of combines has been completed.

In particular, the repair work of combines has been completed in full, 100 percent, in Surkhandarya, Khorezm and Navoi regions, and 90 percent in Namangan, Andijan and Bukhara regions.

Necessary work is being carried out in the remaining regions to complete the repair work in a short time.

Combines removed from repair will undergo a technical inspection in accordance with the established procedure, as well as regional commissions will organize their acceptance for operation for the season by driving them for a distance of 10-15 km, testing their working bodies.
