The deputy governor of the region for agriculture and water management issues took part in the seminar and introduced cotton-growing subjects for the harvest of 2024. In order to provide sufficient quality seeds of za varieties to the regional Department of Agriculture, the Regional Department of the "Seed Development Center" DM, the Regional Department of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency, the scientific agro-technologies of cotton selection and cultivation research institute Navoi scientific experimental station and the regional department of "Agroinspection" were given a number of tasks to control the approval process.

In this case, agricultural entities engaged in the cultivation of seed cotton, which passed the competition in 2023, will be held in the fields that meet the requirements of the State Standard for cotton varieties, and the seed will be planted within 3 days before the start of the approval. carrying out field inspections in the areas planted with elite and next-generation seeds in cotton farms, completing the cleaning of atypical and foreign plant bushes, picking, drying, receiving, tasks were given to organize storage and documentation work.
The expert of the regional department of the agroinspection spoke at the meeting and gave approval to the members of the working group participating in the demonstration seminar, to the heads of the cotton textile cluster and cotton ginning enterprises, and to the heads of the farms, on the areas planted for seed cotton production. implementation of the transfer works based on the requirements of Article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Seed Production" No. ORQ-521 and Resolution No. 641 of the Cabinet of Ministers and on the basis of normative legal documents related to the field of seed production necessary recommendations were given.
