QUALITY CONDUCT OF AGROTECHNICAL MEASURES IN SEEDLINGS IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF "UZAGROINSPEKSIA"

The territorial departments and district departments of the Uzagroinspection carried out continuous control measures during the sowing season for the 2025 cotton crop.

In particular, this year, 875.6 thousand hectares of seed were sown across the republic.

Of these, 181.2 thousand hectares were sown with foreign and domestic cotton varieties based on highly intensive agrotechnologies.

During the seed sowing season, 9,669 control measures were carried out by the Uzagroinspection, during which deficiencies were identified on 56,221 hectares of land of 8,736 farms.

149 submissions were submitted to local khokimiyats and sectoral officials to eliminate the identified deficiencies, and 8,505 warnings and 1,015 written instructions were issued to farms.

Also, the Uzagroinspection is constantly conducting control measures to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures in the areas where seeds are sown in the regions.

In particular, today, seeds have sprouted on 630 thousand hectares or 72 percent of the sown areas, and 18 thousand 617 cultivators have been involved in the first tillage of these areas, and to date, the first cultivation work has been carried out on 558 thousand hectares or 64 percent of the areas.

It was reported that during these days, weeding was carried out on 91 thousand (10%) areas across the republic, hilling was carried out on 190 thousand or 22 percent of the areas, and deep loosening was carried out on 191 thousand hectares.

At the same time, it was determined that in order to combat pests in the sown areas, bioproducts “Oltinkoz” were applied to 297 thousand hectares and “Trichogramma” to 243 thousand hectares.

The timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures in the fields planted with seeds is constantly monitored by the Uzagroinspection.
