RECOMMENDED: Benefits of installing solar panels

From April 1, 2023, the property tax on individuals and legal entities who installed devices for renewable energy sources with a total capacity of up to 100 kilowatts, land tax on plots occupied by devices and exempt from income tax for a period of three years is calculated from the profit received from the sale of electricity legal entities into the public network.

For the first time in the history of Uzbekistan, the practice of public procurement of electricity produced by solar panels installed in households has been introduced, in which the electricity supply company buys increased electricity from residents and organizations at an increased price. No tax payments are made from individuals.

Also, for every kilowatt-hour of electricity transferred to a unified electric power system, a subsidy in the amount of THOUSAND soums is allocated from the state budget within the framework of the “Solar House” program. Subsidy payments are not included in the total income of individuals. The subsidy is transferred by tax authorities to citizens' bank plastic cards every month through the Tax mobile application until the 25th of the next month. So, solar panels will pay for themselves in 4-5 years.

When using solar panels, no harmful gases are released into the environment, and electricity is obtained free of charge. Since such devices are installed on the roofs of buildings and free ground, there is no noise during operation. Modern devices allow you to provide your home with uninterrupted electricity.

Due to the fact that these devices are installed after testing by special testing laboratories, they last on average 20-25 years and are very easy to install.

Considering that we live in a prosperous country, we should make good use of this gift of nature in generating renewable energy. The development of green energy serves to reduce the enormous load on the country’s energy system in modern conditions.
