The correct analysis of the type, class and quality of the cotton harvest of 2024 and the resolution of conflict situations are under the control of "Uzagroinspektsiya"

This year, cotton raw materials were grown by 140 cotton textile clusters and 30,704 farms established in 136 cotton-growing districts of the republic.

Today, cotton harvesting is in full swing in all regions and districts.

On August 29, 2024, the order UM-50-24 of "Uzagroinspektsiya" was adopted and directed to be implemented in order to quickly resolve disputes arising on the type, class and quality of cotton received this year.

According to the order, a Republican working group was established in the central office of the Inspectorate, qualified specialists of "Ozagroinspektsiya" were attached to 394 cotton receiving centers, and a total of 39 mobile arbitration groups were formed in each of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and regions, and are operating on the ground.

Mobile Arbitration teams are solving on-the-spot disputes arising between cotton suppliers and cotton receivers regarding the type, class and quality of cotton.

Today, a total of 164 disputed cases were reviewed by the Inspectorate, and 112 cases (68.3 percent) were resolved in favor of farms and 52 cases (31.7 percent) were resolved in favor of enterprises, and acceptance of cotton raw materials into higher classes was achieved.

"Uzagroinspektsiya" has taken daily control over the correct analysis of the type, class and quality of cotton, as well as the prompt on-the-spot resolution of disputes arising between the supplier and receiver of cotton.
