The quality of agrotechnical activities in grain fields is under the control of the Uzagroinspection

The regional departments of the Uzagroinspection and the specialists of the district departments systematically monitor the timely and high-quality implementation of all agrotechnical measures in grain fields, namely the state of grain in its development phases, the progress of third feeding with mineral fertilizers, local fertilizer accumulation and irrigation using the juice method, and the implementation of work to combat weeds, diseases, and insect pests.

In particular, during the control measures carried out, it was determined that 880.2 thousand hectares of grain fields in the regions are currently developing in the earing phase, and 116.7 thousand hectares in the bunching phase.

Today, based on the state of grain development, the third spring feeding with nitrogenous mineral fertilizers was carried out on 41.5 thousand hectares (4.2%), the first spring irrigation was carried out on 901.4 thousand hectares (90.4%), and the second irrigation was carried out on 340.5 thousand hectares (34%).

Also, 583 thousand hectares or 58.5 percent of the areas in the regions were treated with fungicides against grain rust, and 716.9 thousand hectares or 72 percent of the areas were treated with herbicides against weeds.

During the season, the Uzagroinspection conducted 23,085 inspections to ensure timely and high-quality agrotechnical measures were carried out in grain fields.

In particular, during the inspections, it was revealed that grain sprouted poorly on 22,417 hectares of land of 3,469 subjects, that grain turned yellow and lagged behind in development on 14,228 hectares of land of 2,314 subjects, that grain was fed with poor-quality nitrogenous mineral fertilizers on 16,052 hectares of land of 2,375 subjects, that grain was fed with poor-quality leaf fertilizers on 2,571 hectares of land of 565 subjects, and that grain was exposed on 845 hectares of land of 172 subjects.

In order to eliminate the identified shortcomings and prevent such negative situations in the future, the Inspectorate submitted 406 submissions to the relevant authorities, issued 21,058 warnings and 1,621 written instructions to farms.
