Working groups consisting of specialists from the Inspection's vertical system in the field of seed production, employees of the "Center for Seed Development" and specialists from district agricultural departments were formed, and the first monitoring event was held in the field of seed production.
According to the results of the monitoring, seed grain planted by 2,913 entities on a total of 79,755 hectares of land has fully germinated and is currently in the accumulation phase.
Based on the recommendations of scientists from scientific research institutes, taking into account soil and climatic conditions, it was determined that seed grain fields should be fertilized with 200 kg (in physical form) of nitrogen mineral fertilizers per hectare in February, and as of today, fertilization has been carried out on 58,611 hectares of land or 73.3%.
To date, fertilization of seed grain fields with mineral fertilizers has been fully completed in Navoi, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya and Fergana regions.
It was also revealed that irrigation was carried out in 55% of seed grain fields fertilized with nitrogen mineral fertilizers.
During the 1st monitoring event conducted by working groups established in the regions, 367 hectares of seed grain fields of 25 entities were excluded from the list of seed producers due to the failure to implement agrotechnical measures at the required level, incomplete germination, and, most importantly, the planting of seeds with low germination rates.
Seed specialists in the regions constantly monitored agrotechnical measures and monitoring work carried out on seed grain fields throughout the season, and appropriate measures were taken to eliminate the identified deficiencies on the spot.
