Today, it is possible to observe that cotton is growing steadily in the fields of clusters and farmers who have carried out agrotechnical measures on cotton fields in time, especially cultivation, weeding and feeding with mineral fertilizers, as well as quality irrigation.
During on-site monitoring conducted by the inspectorate, cotton was cultivated 6.1 times between the rows, weeding was done 4.5 times, foliar feeding of cotton was done 4.9 times, and 1st irrigation of cotton was carried out in 78%, 2nd irrigation in 9% of fields. increased.
Today, 81,000 hectares or 8% of the cotton fields are in the stage of tillering, 436,000 hectares or 43% are in the flowering stage, 433,000 hectares or 43% are in 1-2 bolls, and 62,000 hectares or 6% are in the flowering phase.
In addition, farmers seeking high yield and high income from cotton are now doing well by feeding cotton with the bulk of the average annual rate of nitrogen fertilizers.
In particular, 475 thousand 729 tons of 756 thousand 125 tons of nitrogenous fertilizers (in physical form) required during the season for feeding cotton in the territories of the Republic, as well as 470 kilograms or 63 percent of the average annual norm of 752 kg per hectare of cotton area, were given to cotton.
Meanwhile, the second feeding of cotton fields with nitrogen mineral fertilizers (97%) is being completed in the regions.
13 thousand 453 monitoring events were conducted by the inspectorate, and during the conducted monitoring, it was found that a number of shortcomings are being allowed along with the effective agrotechnical measures being implemented in the cotton fields.
Also, a total of 13,256 warnings were given to farms and cluster enterprises to eliminate these shortcomings and prevent them in the future.
