Grain-24: Are combine harvesters ready for the season?

The season of grain harvesting, which is one of the most important events in agriculture, is also starting.

In this process, the control activities carried out by "Uzagroinspeksiya" on the preparation of the combine harvesters participating in the 2024 grain harvest season - i.e. the adjustment of the combine harvesters and their readiness for the season - are important.

In order to organize the season in an organized manner, it is planned to prepare a total of 3,008 grain harvesters for the season this year.

Of these combines, 1,061 are Case and New Holland, 1,587 are Klass, 287 are Vector, and 73 are other high-performance combine harvesters.

As of today, a total of 2,953 or 98 percent of combine harvesters have been repaired across the country.

Measures are being taken to complete the repair work of a total of 55 uncompleted combine harvesters, including 27 combine harvesters in Tashkent region, 21 combine harvesters in Kashkadarya, and 7 combine harvesters in Bukhara.

Working groups consisting of "Uzagroinspeksiya" and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and relevant officials have been established in the regions, and combine harvesters removed from repair are accepted by them on the basis of a special certificate.

In this case, each harvester is driven for 10-15 km, their working bodies are used and subjected to technical inspection. Also, measures are being taken to fully provide harvesters with fire safety equipment.

Combines released from repair were 100% ready in Surkhandarya, Khorezm and Navoi regions, and 85-90% ready in Sirdarya, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya and Namangan regions. They were accepted by the commission and underwent technical inspection.

In other regions, the overhauled combines are accepted on the basis of a special certificate and technical inspection is ongoing.
