Agroinspectorate takes measures to protect gardens and vineyards from frost

The fact that a sharp flow of cold air has penetrated our republic these days is in the center of everyone's attention. Temperatures are expected to drop sharply, especially later in the week. In such conditions, it is imperative to take measures to reduce and mitigate the negative consequences of frostbite. In this regard, each of us should be attentive to the protection of fruit trees, especially pomegranate and vineyards that are resistant to cold.

In order to conduct the season without loss or damage, 1,400 employees of Uzagroinspeksiya took special control over funeral events in pomegranate groves and vineyards.

Thanks to the activities taking place throughout our republic, 3 thousand 328 hectares (27%) of pomegranate orchards and 51 thousand 503 hectares (56%) of vineyards are planted in good quality and resistant to cold winter days.

In particular, 65-70% of existing vineyards in the Surkhandarya, Fergana, Syrdarya, Tashkent and Khorezm regions of our country were buried.

Also, the preparation of pomegranate orchards for winter in Namangan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Samarkand and Andijan regions is 45-50% completed.

In addition, in order to protect orchards from the cold, employees organized the collection of chazons among the rows of apple, cherry, plum and other orchards, and also prepared to illuminate the chazons when the air temperature is below 10 degrees. made me angry
