Andijan: progress of agrotechnical activities in cotton fields

These days, important agrotechnical activities related to cotton care are being carried out in the cotton fields of Andijan region. June-July is the most important period in cotton care.

The regional administration and district departments of the Agroinspektsia are monitoring the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures.

In the province, cotton is cultivated on 71 thousand 331 hectares for the harvest of 2024. Today cotton fields are cultivated 7.7 times, cotton is foliar fed 5.4 times, 3-feeding with mineral fertilizers 1 thousand 911 hectares, 1-irrigation works were carried out on an area of ​​58 thousand 383 hectares.

Also, 12 thousand 482 hectares or 17 percent of cotton fields are in the flowering stage, 40 thousand 683 hectares or 57 percent are in 1-2 bolls, and 18 thousand 166 hectares or 25 percent are in the development phase of 3-4 bolls.

In addition, farmers seeking high yield and high income from cotton are now doing well by feeding cotton with the bulk of the average annual rate of nitrogen fertilizers.

Meanwhile, the second feeding of cotton fields with nitrogen mineral fertilizers is being completed in the regions.

During the monitoring activities carried out by the Andijan regional department of the inspectorate, it was found that a number of deficiencies are being allowed in the cotton fields.

In this direction, 684 warnings and 3 submissions were issued to the heads of clusters and farms by the regional departments of the department, which were determined during the control activities conducted in the regions.

In particular, 684 warning letters and submissions were sent to the heads of farms in order to carry out all agrotechnical measures without delay in the growing cotton fields and to eliminate the detected errors.
