At the initiative of the Kashkadarya regional department of the "Uzagroinspection" and the regional Trade Union, a trip to the city of Khiva, which has a rich historical and cultural heritage, was organized for employees, activists, women and veterans of labor who have been working in agricultural labor collectives for many years.
The travelers were taken to the legendary city of Khiva in modern buses. In Khiva, a tour guide accompanied them and provided detailed information about each monument.
They had the opportunity to see the sights of Khiva, architectural objects reflecting its long history, and ancient monuments up close. They felt the breath of history by visiting the more beautiful and charming settlements of ancient Khiva, madrasahs, mausoleums, minarets and modern complexes.
In particular, the Juma Mosque, the Mausoleum of Sheikh Mukhtar Vali, the Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud and other unique structures aroused great interest and admiration. In particular, Ichan-Kala - a large and unique architectural monument in Central Asia - is part of the inner fortress (Shahristan) of Khiva, which is separated from the Dishan-Kala (outer fortress) of the city by a bell-shaped wall. It looks like a high Kurgan-tepe from the Khiva rabati (Dishan-Kala).
Ichan-Kala is entered through 4 gates (Garden Gate, Palvan Gate, Stone Gate, Father's Gate). Every tourist who visits Ichan-Kala feels as if he has fallen into a fairy-tale world.
