Control has been established over the planting of agricultural crops between the garden and the vineyard.

At a meeting held in the presence of the President on October 23 of this year, the head of our state particularly focused on planting agricultural crops between orchards and vineyards, saying that there are 331 thousand hectares of orchards and 153 thousand hectares of vineyards in Uzbekistan. It was noted that if onions, garlic, carrots, peanuts, potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers are planted in the fields between the rows, then additional products will appear in our markets, and additional income will appear for the population.

Therefore, in order to effectively use the land and water resources available today, increase agricultural production, ensure food security and further increase export volumes, ensure the economic and financial stability of product producers, “Uzagroinspectorate” in the republic has established constant control over the planting of agricultural crops by the harvest of 2024 between orchards and vineyards.

In November-December of this year, it is planned to plant 356 thousand 338 hectares of gardens and vineyards with agricultural crops, of which 257 thousand 880 hectares of gardens and 98 thousand 457 hectares of vineyards.

According to information received from regional agricultural departments by the Department for Control of Agricultural Seeds of Uzagroinspeksiya and its regional departments, as of November 21 of this year, 3719 hectares per day, the season since the beginning of the season is only 339 thousand 337 hectares. or 95.2 percent of garden and grape rows are planted with agricultural crops.

Of these, 244.1 thousand hectares or 94.7 percent of gardens (including 52.8 thousand hectares of onions, 11.4 thousand hectares of garlic, 30.5 thousand hectares of carrots, 11.8 thousand hectares of beets, 36.4 thousand hectares of greenery, 8.9 thousand hectares) of cabbage and 92.1 thousand hectares of other agricultural crops) and 95.1 thousand hectares or 96.7 percent of the area (including 24.9 thousand hectares ) it was established that onions, 4.2 thousand hectares of garlic, 12.5 thousand hectares of carrots, 2.1 thousand hectares of beets. 9.5 thousand hectares of greenery, 2.4 thousand hectares of cabbage and 39.3 thousand hectares of berry crops were planted.

When monitoring the sowing of agricultural crops indicated among the rows of existing orchards and vineyards of farms and agricultural enterprises in the areas by specialists supervising the seed sector of the inspection, weather conditions for sowing agricultural crops are favorable. and all conditions, economic entities whose sowing work was unsatisfactory were also identified.

At the same time, due to the fact that the planting of agricultural crops between the garden and the grape row was not started or was carried out poorly, until November 21, inspection specialists carried out control measures in 7 thousand 333 business entities during Measure 6. Cases of violations of the law were identified in 160 thousand.

In order to eliminate the violations identified, the inspection issued 5 thousand 722 warnings, 1 thousand 419 written orders, 76 submissions, and administrative decisions were made in 35 cases.
