Damage to agricultural land is 77 billion soums

Today, control over the use of agricultural land for specific purposes is carried out by "Uzagroinspektsiya" under the Ministry of Agriculture.

Based on the tasks assigned to them, monitoring activities were carried out on the ground by specialists of "Ozagroinspektsiya" for monitoring the use of land intended for agriculture.

In August 2024, it was found that there were 195 cases of land violations on 274 hectares of agricultural land. Out of this, 127.0 hectares of irrigated land, 83.0 hectares of dry land, 2.4 hectares of gray land, and 62.0 hectares of pasture land were violated. In these cases, a total of 76 billion 916 million soums of damage to agriculture was calculated against the violators.

The largest number of cases of violation of the law were found in Andijan region (30 cases), Kashkadarya (43 cases), Namangan (41 cases), Samarkand (29 cases), and Surkhandarya regions (19 cases).

In 109 cases of land violations, warning letters were sent to the prosecutor's office, 47 to the regional units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 42 cases to other organizations, and in 8 cases to land users.
