Good news: a new laboratory was commissioned in Khorezm region

In recent years, a number of achievements have been made in our country to ensure the quality and safety indicators of agricultural products comply with international standards.

One of them is the establishment of a laboratory with modern conditions by "Uzagroinspektsiya" and its accreditation in accordance with the requirements of international organizations. Today, at the expense of grant funds in the amount of 6 million US dollars allocated by the World Bank, modern measuring instruments and test devices manufactured in more than 10 foreign countries, such as the USA, Japan, Germany, France and China, have been purchased, not only in the center, but also in remote areas. laboratories are being built and fully equipped.

In order to ensure the implementation of this task, today, April 25, the opening ceremony of this laboratory was held at the Khorezm branch of the Center for Quality Assessment of Agricultural Products in the city of Urganch. The event was attended by the regional administration, relevant organizations and industry leaders, as well as representatives of the mass media.

Now it will be possible to pass the laboratory analysis of agricultural crops grown in the region and issue a certificate.

This new laboratory was fully equipped and modernized with 80 measuring instruments and test devices of 30 types purchased with the grant funds of 200,000 US dollars as part of the program of modernization of seed breeding laboratories of "Uzargoinspektsia".
The establishment of the new laboratory has created 15 permanent jobs and an additional 11 seasonal jobs.

Also, as a result of the modernization of the Laboratory, it is possible to ensure the quality of seeds and to prevent the planting of low-quality seeds in the processes of cultivation, accumulation, storage, processing and realization of seeds in the cotton-textile clusters and seed enterprises in Khorezm region.

Today, "Uzagroinspektsiya" plans to implement such laboratories in Kashkadarya and Fergana regions of the Republic.
