KHORAZM: more than 8 thousand tons of high-quality seed grains were accumulated for the 2024 harvest

In order to ensure the implementation of the government's decisions in the field, "Uzagroinspektsiya" monitored compliance with the requirements set by the law in the collection, acceptance and storage of the seeds of grain crops meeting the state standards for the harvest of 2024.

In particular, relevant specialists from the regional department and district departments of the Inspectorate, as well as regional branches of the Center for Quality Assessment of Agricultural Products, were attached to carry out the approval of the fields planted for seeds, control the delivery, reception and quality storage of grain.

It is planned to get 8000 tons of seeds from 1878.2 hectares of 73 seed-growing entities in the grain fields planted from the 2023 grain harvest in the region. During the approval activities, a total of 2095 hectares of the region, of which 75 seed-growing entities (farm, ITI, Elite seed farm, 1,868.6 hectares of seed area of cluster enterprises) was found suitable and 8,000 tons of seed grains were accepted

Also, according to the results of the approval of the grain harvest of 2023 in the entities that grow seed grain in the region, based on the existing needs, 216.7 hectares of 17 farms were considered suitable according to the approval conclusion, and it was determined to get 833.8 tons of seed grain from it.

When the approval event was carried out based on the requirements set by the legislation, a number of violations were identified, 73 warning letters, 14 written instructions and the issue of responsibility with the relevant articles of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan were considered against the chief approvers of 2 (Yangibozor, Urganch) districts.

For the 2024 grain harvest, 8000 tons of seed grain from a total of 75 seed production entities were planned to be received at 8 seed grain reception centers, but this indicator was actually fulfilled by 8032 tons or 100.4 percent.

Storage of the seed grain bunches accepted for the next year's harvest based on the requirements established by the Government's decisions was systematically monitored by the regional department of the Inspectorate and the regional employees of the district departments.
