In Samarkand, in 66 cases the damage caused as a result of the exclusion of lands from agricultural circulation was calculated.

The Department for Control over the Use of Agricultural Lands of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Uzagroinspectorate carries out the following control over the protection of agricultural lands: over the use of agricultural lands for the specified purposes;

on the prohibition of unauthorized removal, movement and destruction of fertile soil layers and preventing the use of land in agriculture;

on carrying out land management work and work to determine the quality of soils on agricultural lands in the prescribed manner;

for cases of leaving agricultural crops unsown on irrigated agricultural lands, for compliance with land reclamation requirements;

on recovery of damage caused as a result of circumstances that resulted in the unauthorized provision of land for agricultural use.

3 billion 176 million 983 thousand 574 soums of damage was caused to legal entities and individuals who arbitrarily caused the withdrawal of land from agricultural use, in 66 cases in the region on an area of 5.8913 hectares, in this regard 47 conclusions were given. The regional and district prosecutor's office, 18 conclusions were given to the investigative units of the IIB, and in 1 case a warning was issued about voluntary compensation for the damage caused.

For example, during a study of the use of agricultural land of the Yuzboev Barakali Chorvasi farm, operating in the Pastdargom region, the head of the farm unauthorizedly used housing and it was found that the livestock premises were not used for their intended purpose. from allocated land plots.

In this case, it was approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 25, 2011 No. 146 “Damage caused to owners, users, tenants and owners of land plots by failure to carry out agricultural and forestry production, as well as a warning letter was issued on voluntary compensation for damage caused by the Regulations “On the procedure for compensation for damage caused in cases resulting in the withdrawal of land from agricultural use.”

Currently, the Prosecutor's Office and the investigative units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting investigations against legal entities and individuals guilty of taking land from agricultural use.

Within the scope of inspection powers, research is carried out by specialists from the department for control over the use of agricultural land in the region.
