JIZZAH: REPEATED CROPS WILL BE PLANTED ON OVER 83 THOUSAND HECTARES

To implement the tasks defined in the strategy of the development of agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030, to increase the volume of food production through the effective use of available resources, to ensure the demand of the population for food in the domestic market and in order to maintain price stability: the Jizzakh regional department of "Uzagroinspeksiya" is carrying out control measures regarding the planting of repeated crops in the areas cleared of grain in 2023.

In particular, the preparation of land for planting agricultural crops in areas free from fallow crops and grain, and planting crops on the basis of approved schedules, on time, full compliance with agrotechnical measures by agricultural enterprises, and their quality The issues of transfer are the main focus of the Agroinspection.

In 2023, a total of 83 thousand 50 hectares of land area of Jizzakh region is planned to be planted with repeated crops. Until now, depending on the soil and climate conditions of each region, seeds of repeated agricultural crops are planted on 78 thousand 660 hectares of these areas. .

This year, special attention is paid to the planting of vegetables, potatoes, rice, sunflower and leguminous crops in the areas of repeated cropping.

The presence of certificates of conformity of the quality indicators of the seeds of agricultural crops required for repeated cropping by the Jizzakh regional department and district specialists of "Uzagroinspeksiya" and the distribution of seeds to farms and other enterprises during the planting season. On-time delivery is constantly monitored.

During the control measures, the seeds, mineral fertilizers, chemical preparations, fuel-lubricating products and other material resources required for planting repeated crops are being provided within the specified periods.
