June is an important and relevant period in cotton care. For the same reason, agrotechnical measures important for cotton care by cotton textile cluster enterprises and farms have become intense.

In this process, the implementation of cotton agrotechnical activities without delay is being monitored by the regional department of the Agro-Industry Complex under the Ministry of Agriculture and inspectors of district departments.

Today, all operations in cotton agrotechnics, including inter-row cultivation, deep softening, weeding, feeding with nitrogen fertilizers, suspension spraying, control of cotton pests and insects are organized on a systematic basis.

Of course, as a result of high-quality and timely implementation of these agrotechnical activities, during the past week, the "snowed" areas increased by 390-395 thousand hectares, and the "blooming" areas increased by 60-62 thousand hectares.

Regular monitoring measures are being conducted by the inspectorate regarding the implementation of agrotechnical activities in the cotton fields.

According to the conducted monitoring activities, 252 thousand hectares or 25% of the 1 million 12 thousand 445 hectares of cultivated cotton fields in the republic are currently developing in the phase of 5-6 leaves, 697 thousand hectares or 69% are in the tillering phase and 62 thousand hectares or 6% are in the flowering phase.

Also, since the beginning of the season, cultivation of cotton between the rows has been carried out 3.6 times, weeding 3.1 times, deep loosening 2.2 times, cotton leaf feeding 2.7 times, cotton feeding with mineral fertilizer 2 times. It was found that it was carried out on 230 thousand hectares or 23 percent of the area.

At the same time, the Inspectorate conducted 11,885 monitoring activities during the season to ensure timely and quality agrotechnical activities on 106,000 hectares of cotton fields of 15,287 farms.

In order to eliminate these identified deficiencies, 179 submissions were made to the sector officials and 11,706 warnings were issued to farms and clusters.

Together with the regional administration and district departments of "Uzagroinspektsiya", daily control over timely and quality implementation of all agrotechnical activities in cotton care is carried out, and measures are taken to eliminate errors and shortcomings.
