Seeds intended for sowing in the region must be prepared without dehydrogenation, and the purity of super-elite and elite-generation seeds must be 100%, 99% in the first generation, 98% in the second generation and 96% in the third generation. generation, as well as fertility, quality indicators such as contamination, humidity, mechanical damage and fiber residues must comply with state standards.

The resulting raw cotton seed is stored in warehouses for at least two months during the dormant period, and after complete physiological maturation of the seeds in the cotton raw material, it is sent for processing and specialized in the preparation of seeds obtained from production. The organization of transportation to enterprises, processing, storage and delivery to farms was carried out step by step.

Therefore, at cotton ginning enterprises that are part of existing cotton clusters, the regional administration and district offices of Uzagroinspektsii, DM Seed Development Center, as well as regional departments of the Agency for Quarantine and Plant Protection carry out joint work on seed procurement. - Today, in the cotton-textile clusters and seed preparation shops of the region, a total of 2,762 tons of raw cotton were cleaned and sorted, 1,222 tons were dust-free and processed. As a result of control measures carried out by the Tashkent regional department of the Uzagroinspectorate and specialists of the district department, high-quality seeds can be produced in the region. This will be of great importance to ensure that farms receive a good cotton harvest in the future,” says Sh. Usubaliev.
