THE CONDUCT OF AGROTECHNICAL MEASURES IN GROWING SEED GRAIN IS THE BASIS OF Abundant HARVEST

Important factors in obtaining a high-quality and abundant harvest from grain crops are their biological characteristics, optimal maintenance agrotechnical measures and protection of cultivated fields from pests, diseases and weeds.

In Kashkadarya region, a total of 299 entities are growing grain for seed on 8,608 hectares of land for the 2025 seed grain harvest.

For the 2025 seed grain harvest, farms in the region are growing wheat varieties “Khisorak”, “Alekseich”, “Krasnodar-99”, “Asr Chilgisi”, “Vekha”, Pervitsa”, “Shukrona”, “Antonina”, as well as “Davr” and “Shkola” varieties from “Koson EUH”.

Also, currently, farms have applied 800 kg of mineral fertilizers per hectare and 5 tons of local fertilizers per hectare on these seed grain fields, and irrigation is carried out using the spray method.

Currently, in order to accelerate the development of grain and increase its resistance to diseases, foliar feeding of plants with nitrogen fertilizers and biostimulants is being carried out.

Seed grain fields are developing in the earing phase. In order to ensure the production of high-quality seed grain from seed fields, monitoring is carried out every 15 days by specialists of the regional department and district departments of the Uzagroinspection for the control of the cultivation of agricultural crops seeds in order to control the timely and qualitative implementation of the established agrotechnical measures.
