Execution of the President's task: in the case of Denov district

In order to ensure food security in our country by supplying the population with high-quality and guaranteed agricultural products, create more favorable conditions for the economically efficient operation of greenhouse farms and cold storage facilities, and further stimulate the increase in incomes of the population employed in this sector, the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to effectively organize the implementation of the tasks set out in the Strategy for the Development of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020–2030”, “On additional measures to accelerate reforms in the agricultural and food sectors”, and “On measures to further increase the level of mechanization of agriculture” brought the work on the development of the sector to a new level.

- In our district, it is planned to sow seeds on 7,000 thousand hectares of land for the 2025 cotton harvest in the agricultural sector, - says Ikrom Nazarov, head of the Denov district Agroinspection department. - Today, the Denov district department of the Uzagroinspection has taken control of the quality and quantity of seed treatment of the seeds of the "Bukhara-10", "Ravnoq", "Sherobod SHN", "Sultan" varieties. These preparatory works are being carried out at the Khairabad seed treatment workshop. Also, 204 wheel tractors, 204 cultivators, 90 seed drills and 320 toothed harrows have been fully repaired and put into operation at 4 equipment repair facilities.
