RELATIONS ARE BEING ESTABLISHED BETWEEN "UZAGROINSPEKSIA" AND THE GERMAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION ORGANIZATION (GIZ)

On April 21 of this year, a meeting was held at the head office of the GIZ-German International Cooperation Organization to strengthen the sectoral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.

This meeting was attended by Ms. Beat Shoreit, Program Manager for Sustainable Economic Development in Uzbekistan of the GIZ-German International Cooperation Organization, and her team (project consultant Mr. Markus Krug), as well as the Deputy Head of the Uzagroinspeksiya V. Hasanov, Executive Advisor F. Mamasoliyev, and Deputy Director of the Center for Quality Assessment of Agricultural Products J. Murtalibov.

The meeting discussed the establishment of sectoral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany and the exchange of experience in studying the management mechanisms of the agricultural control system of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as reforms in control measures being carried out to mitigate global climate change processes in agriculture and maintain food security.
