Samarkand: the quality of grain sowing in the regions is controlled

This year, for the 2024 grain harvest, it is planned to sow 104,230 hectares of grain in the region, of which 53,130 hectares will be sown in open areas, and 51,100 hectares will be sown between rows.

Also, 219 units of seeders and 595 units of grain sowing devices were imported from the regions for grain sowing, while grain sowing is carried out on an average of 9 hectares per day with one grain seeder and on average 11 hectares per day. with one grain sowing unit.

To date, sowing work has been carried out in the region on 77,811 hectares, or 75 percent of the grain crop area, and irrigated 26,300 hectares, or 25 percent of the grain crop area.

The regional department and district inspection departments carried out inspection activities on 33,275 hectares of grain fields.

During control activities, errors and shortcomings were identified on 4,425 hectares of grain crops on 1,536 farms.

In order to eliminate identified errors and shortcomings, 3,220 warnings were issued to farms and cluster enterprises.
