The Navoi Regional Department of the Inspectorate examined the treatment of seed seedlings prepared for the 2025 cotton harvest in the region according to the established plan, based on the requirements established by law.

In particular, 802 tons of seed cotton, which were separated as a result of cleaning and sorting 1,513 tons of local seed cotton raw materials received from the 2024 seed cotton harvest at cotton textile cluster enterprises and other entities in the districts of Navoi region, are planned to be treated for the 2025 cotton harvest.

As of today, 660 tons of seed cotton raw materials received from the 2024 cotton harvest have been cleaned, 85 tons of linting has been carried out, and 77 tons of seed cotton have been treated.

In addition, in 2024, 665 tons of seed grains left over from planting on the land of cotton-growing entities were sampled by specialists of the Navoi regional branch of the State Agricultural Product Quality Assessment Center under the Agroinspection, and the implementation of certification work was monitored. The heads of organizations responsible for the preparation and treatment of seed cotton were provided with practical assistance by issuing notices and instructions on the quality treatment of seed grains planned for the 2025 cotton harvest and the completion of the prepared seeds in a short time, taking into account the dormancy period, and control measures are ongoing.
