Tashkent region: more than 100,000 hectares of grain-free areas are being replanted

Effective use of irrigated lands in the republic, meeting the population's demand for food products, growing profitable and exportable agricultural crops in areas free from fallow crops and grain, supplying the required material resources, and ensuring employment of the population, Systematic organization of measures to increase their income is an important issue for every manager.

This year, it is planned to plant repeated crops on 100,177 hectares of areas freed from previous crops and grain in Tashkent region.

The employees of the Tashkent regional department and the district department of "Uzagroinspeksiya" have been conducting control measures to complete the replanting works on time in the areas cleared of previous crops and grain.

Also, to date, a total of 67,402 hectares in the region, of which 8,844 hectares are vegetables, 1,333 hectares of potatoes, 28,401 hectares of legumes, 902 hectares of rice, 6,440 hectares of rice and 21,482 fodder crops were planted on a hectare area.

Systematic on-site control works by the Tashkent regional office and district departments of "Uzagroinspeksiya" to ensure food safety, timely planting of repeated crops, and timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures in cultivated areas is being conducted.
