Wheat is one of the most common staple grain crops. More than half of the world's people eat wheat bread. Wheat grain contains a lot of protein and starch, and since protein substances are mainly contained in gluten, high-quality bread is obtained from it.

Placement of wheat varieties grown in the irrigated areas of our country, taking into account their biological characteristics, preparation of land and seeds for planting, planting method, rate and timing, feeding with organic and mineral fertilizers, irrigation, fighting against weeds, diseases and pests, effective use of water and land resources it is necessary to introduce innovative technologies that ensure the use, as well as to increase the yield of winter wheat grains, to choose the right varieties, to plant selected high-quality seedsPlacement of wheat varieties grown in the irrigated areas of our country, taking into account their biological characteristics, preparation of land and seeds for planting, planting method, rate and timing, feeding with organic and mineral fertilizers, irrigation, fighting against weeds, diseases and pests, effective use of water and land resources it is necessary to introduce innovative technologies that ensure the use, as well as to increase the yield of winter wheat grains, to choose the right varieties, to plant selected high-quality seeds

In irrigated conditions, each district has its own soil and climatic conditions according to its geographical location and regions. In addition, a set of new agrotechnological measures applied to new promising varieties will be developed based on the natural conditions of this place and recommended to the grain growers will give high results in the near future.

Also, winter wheat's need for nitrogen is high throughout the growing season. In a wheat plant, 75-80% nitrogen accumulates in the leaves and stems of the plant before the earing period. The main part of the protein in the grain is formed due to this accumulated nitrogen. When the productivity is high (65-70 C/ha), the amount of nitrogen accumulated in the leaves and stems of the plant cannot ensure sufficient amount of protein in the grain. In particular, nitrogen deficiency is observed in winter wheat during the formation of crop elements, i.e., during the spike, flowering and milk ripening periods of development.

This year, 158 farmers and other agricultural enterprises, who were awarded the prize for the cultivation of seed grain in Tashkent region, are planting high-yielding seed grain varieties on 8,228 hectares of land.

In particular, high-yielding varieties of grain Vassa, Aleksevich, Antanina, Grom, Bezostaya-100, Elanchik, Temiryazovka-150 and Asr were planted.

From planting these seeds in grain fields to this day, feeding with nitrogen and potassium mineral fertilizers, irrigation with local fertilizer using the juice method, are being monitored daily by the department of control of cultivation and supply of seeds of agricultural crops and district inspectors of the Tashkent Regional Department of Agroinspection.

During the control measures, it was ensured that all seed grain growing entities were given warning letters on the agrotechnical implementation that cannot be delayed in the seed grain fields.

Sh. Usubaliev is the head of the department for monitoring the cultivation of seeds of agricultural crops of the Tashkent regional department of Uzagroinspektsia.
