"UZAGROINSPEKSIA" DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN THE "WORLD SEED CONGRESS"

Currently, the "World Seed Congress" is being held at the Istanbul Congress Center (ICC) in Turkey, organized in cooperation with the International Seed Federation (ISF), the International Plant Protection Organization (UPOV), and the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA).

More than 2,000 representatives from ministries, departments, and industry organizations from more than 100 countries are participating in the congress. The prestigious conference is attended by Jahongir Karimov, Director of the State Institution of the Center for Quality Assessment of Agricultural Products under "Uzagroinspeksiya", and Davron Maqsudov, Head of the Andijan Regional Department of the Inspection for Control over the Agro-Industrial Complex.

At the World Seed Congress, the latest developments in the world seed trade and serious problems in the international seed trade became the focus of discussion. At the same time, experiences are being exchanged on strengthening and expanding professional ties, bringing mutual cooperation to a new level, and the importance of creating varieties with high quality indicators suitable for climate change processes. The fact that the conference is held in a question-and-answer format plays an important role in the exchange of experiences.

At the same time, the Congress aims to introduce new methods of creating varieties of agricultural crops, based on the experiences of Turkey, the USA and other leading foreign countries, the latest research on the identification, comparison of varietal seeds, seed certification, reproduction, production, storage technologies, and expand mutual cooperation.
