A seminar on the issues of organizing the grain harvest season "Grain-2025" was held in the conference hall of the Termez grain reception center in the Termez district of Surkhandarya region.

The seminar was attended by heads of regional and district agricultural departments, representatives of farmers and dekhkan farms specializing in grain production, regional and district heads of the Agroinspection, as well as heads of grain receiving facilities and receiving organizations.

The head of the Uzagroinspection, Abrol Vakhabov, participated in this seminar and emphasized the importance of the work that must be done before the season, including the condition of combines and transport equipment participating in harvesting, the readiness of grain receiving facilities and electronic scales, and the conclusion of contracts between farms and enterprises. He gave instructions on the responsibility of the responsible organizations in this regard.

The head of the Uzagroinspection, A. Vakhabov, also visited a number of farms in the Zharkurgan district and got acquainted with the agrotechnical measures being carried out in the cotton fields.

In particular, he inspected the vegetative state of the foreign cotton variety "Xin Lu Zao" planted on a 20-hectare contour of the "Abdurahmon" farm located in the "Ismoiltepa ziroatchi" area. A detailed discussion was held with the responsible persons regarding the growth status of this variety, its water and nutrient requirements, as well as its yield indicators.

The local cotton variety “Ravnaq-2” was planted in an 8-hectare cotton field of the “Akmal” farm located in the area adjacent to this contour in a 76-row scheme, using drip irrigation technology under the film. During the studies, it was found that the cotton varieties sprouted evenly and developed well due to the timely implementation of effective agrotechnical measures.

A. Vakhabov, having a conversation with farm managers and agronomists, gave his recommendations on the effective organization of agrotechnical measures, taking into account the climatic conditions, water supply, and soil characteristics of the Surkhandarya region, and emphasized that the introduction of care methods adapted to each variety is of great importance in achieving high results.
