Based on the powers granted to the Inspectorate on the basis of regulatory documents in the field, the storage of raw cotton accumulated for the next year’s harvest is carried out by entities that have the right to grow raw cotton from the 2023 harvest. Based on the analysis, the Khorezm regional inspection department was studied.
Based on the results for the 2023 harvest, 11 cotton textile clusters in 10 districts have accumulated 11 thousand 840 tons of raw cotton seed (10 thousand 051 tons for the main fund and 1 thousand 789 tons for the reserve fund).
Also, in order to uninterruptedly supply cotton textile clusters and farms with highly productive (elite) seeds of early and mid-season cotton varieties in the regions, 4 elite seed farms and research institutes have accumulated 427 tons of elite cotton seed raw materials.
Today, out of 11,840 tons of seed cotton raw materials accumulated by cotton textile clusters and elite seed farms, 11,530 tons are stored in 56 warehouses, and 309 tons in warehouses.
To protect the seed cotton from precipitation during storage, the seed cotton was covered with a tarpaulin, and after trimming and tunneling, to ensure temperature stability in the gins, 729 gins were prepared for the first time, of which 56 gins - for the second time on 51 gins, between them and for the third time 23 were installed air intake devices.
The preventive measures carried out in the fields were monitored by specialists from the regional department and district inspection departments, and seed production entities were instructed to store the accumulated raw cotton seed for the next year’s harvest in accordance with established requirements. instructions were given.
