The implementation of agrotechnical activities in grain fields is under the control of the inspectorate.

In the Samarkand region, grain is being grown on 94,230 hectares for the 2025 harvest.

The first spring feeding with nitrogenous mineral fertilizers has been fully completed in the region, the second spring feeding has been carried out on 16,447 hectares or 17.5 percent, and irrigation has been carried out on 49,542 hectares or 52.6 percent of the area.

The regional departments and district departments of the Inspectorate have carried out control measures to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of agrotechnical measures in grain fields, and during the control measures, it was revealed that errors and shortcomings were made in grain planting on 10,661 hectares of land by 4,502 farms.

In particular, 790 hectares of sparsely sprouted land in 383 farms, 539 hectares of yellowed and underdeveloped land in 303 farms, 819 hectares of poor-quality nitrogenous mineral fertilizers in 491 farms, 316 hectares of unweeded land in 189 farms, 2,274 hectares of poor-quality irrigation work in 1,34 farms, and 5,923 hectares of local fertilizers were not applied in 2,102 farms.

To eliminate these shortcomings, 13 presentations were submitted to the district administration and relevant organizations and 1,716 warning letters were sent to farms.
